Since the game is so new and not being super publicly marketed yet, the update schedule is being figured out. We're hard at work on creating new add-ons, and basically, they're done when they're done. :) There aren't any beta versions currently available.

How does the game update is there an updater built in or do I have to reinststall the game each time

We're looking into making smaller patch updates but for now it's the full download. When a new update comes out the game will let you know.
