When making 2 versions of the same girl, such as a cum & clean variety... you may need to manually rename the generic z_texture folder & files for the 2nd girl. (the z_folder has numbered folders in it that was created by the character editor automatically). This is because the program by default will make the 2 girls SHARE the same z-texture folder when they begin life from the same original skin/body texture. This seems to be a problem I encountered using the editor.
1. It will be necessary to create a NEW z_textures folder and rename as in step 2... you must copy/rename the texture files (body, head, limbs,etc) to this new folder. FOR EXAMPLE. in the
z_textures folder you see a
93939f04323_b sub-folder.... this is renamed as
93939f04323_c ***I'm only using 'c' as example, but could be X or V, or any letter.
2. Rename each texture .png file (
f_HEAD-93939f04323_c f_BODY-93939f04323_c etc.) so that now all the body, head, limbs, eyes, teeth, have
93939f04323_c in their name. (If not right, your textures will appear blank or white once loaded in the editor on step 4)
3. Copy the XML file to the
93939f04323_c folder. Edit every instance the old "93939f04323_b" folder is used, and change to "93939f04323_c". --- Double check the XML file to make sure you've found and changed all the old "93939f04323_b" usages. ***If not right, your textures will appear blank/white once loaded in the editor on step 4.
4. Load the new version of the girl into the editor, load the skin textures, if she loads and the body, head, limb textures are correct.... you've done everything correct. --- Now save the character & thumbnail (not using the same name as original girl of course), then check her on the main menu to make sure she has a thumbnail photo. If satisfied load her in the editor one last time and save creating the zip file for upload.
5. You will have 2 girls with independent names, independent skin textures, and thumb photos. No more sharing the same skin textures & z_textures folders.
