I actually created the original images in GIMP.  How do I set the background color to 128, 128, 128?  Currently, I'm using an alpha layer that is "deleted".  Are you saying I should use "transparent" instead of deleted?  Not sure how to do that...

Attached are the templates I use for creating clothing.  I overlaid guidelines on top of the shell, which is very helpful when trying to map the clothes onto the character.  The .xcf file is a GIMP file.

Color key:
light green - nipples, vagina, belly button
blue - breasts, pelvis, butt, elbow
purple - division between front and back of body
red - general guidelines for creating clothes, helpful around shoulders
dark green - guideline for creating "pulled" bottoms
indigo - top of wrist (ie. location of a watch face)

Hope you find these helpful.

How to make things for Sex Sim / Bug: Gap between top and bottom layers
« on: October 07, 2010, 06:15:48 PM »
When I create a "full body" outfit, there is always a thin gap between the top and bottom if the top overlaps the bottom.  I'm not using any edge effects (anti-aliasing or fading), and it doesn't matter how I separate the top and the bottom.  See screenshots.

clothing gap 1 - the top is cut at a straight line.  It overlaps the bottom
clothing gap 2 - the top is cut in a square/jagged line.  It overlaps the bottom.

Suggestions / In Game User Created Marketplace

I think you are missing a big opportunity with SexSim.

Instead of selling addons for a small fee, you should setup an in-game marketplace where users can post there own content and charge for it, with you taking a 30% cut.  With 18,000 users+, I'm sure you'll see quite a few users willing to contribute content.  That would mean a much bigger gaming experience that will attract even more users, and it frees up your time to improve the game engine.
