I should clarify what I mean by "real world clothing."  I mean stuff that isn't exotic, and isn't lingerie or bathing suits.  I'm talking about clothing you might see on women walking down the street.  Tight pants, tank tops, etc.  And of course skirts.  We don't have those.

I'd also like to see more shoes.  The one shoe pack is actually very good, but there isn't near enough variety of shoes.

The ability for users to create animations.

Failing that, it desperately needs a pack for anal positions and another for solo masturbation.  Those two things are kind of basic.

Also, more clothing.  Especially real world type clothing.

General Discussion / Update?

I'm curious if there's a new update coming out any time soon, and if so, what generally it consists of.

You did a nice job on these.  Feel free to start your own thread so they don't get lost in the shuffle.

I'm now somewhat competent with an animation module in another game, so I'll address the avoidance of deficiencies in that module.

You want to allow the creation of fairly lengthy animations.  Don't limit it to, oh say, 16 seconds if at all possible. Would be nice to able to create animations at least twice that length.

If you have a function to allow the "locking" of one body part to another (say, right hand on left breast) so that they move together - which you should - do not limit it by not allowing it to be locked then unlocked in the same animation.

It would be nice to be able to independently manipulate all joints in a model, including the elbows, knees, and finger knuckles, plus toes.

User friendliness is key with this sort of thing.  Detailed instructions should be provided that explain all commands.

Great job on the outfit.  We need more clothing in this game badly.  You should probably post it in the outfit forum.

I never really hear anyone asking for more outfits.  Is that something that you think would be a good idea?

I'd like to see about 20 fold more than is currently available.  I'm not really sure why users aren't often creating them any more.  Unfortunately I am hopeless with Photoshop or I'd try it myself.

There is essentially no limit to how many animations, outfits and locations.  In all of those categories, the more choices, the better.  In another sim, texture (i.e. outfits) are the most downloaded and highly rated content by far, more than models, animations, screenshots, movies or sequences.  A good outfit will be downloaded 1000 times within 30 days of being uploaded.  People always want new outfits.

You should consider enticing people who create content for that other sim to come over here and create content for this one.  They create enormous amounts of content for free. Peach points might be enough incentive.

Would be good to have it eventually, even if it isn't the sort of simple thing than can be done sooner.

Besides the ones already mentioned: Rihanna, Sofia Vergara, Christina Hendricks, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Blake Lively, Megan Fox, Emma Watson, Marilyn Monroe, Kate Beckinsale, Pamela Anderson, Marissa Tomei.

There, that's enough to get us started.  :)

General Discussion / Re: Pose-Editor?
« on: February 29, 2012, 08:47:20 AM »
Honestly a "pose-editor," (poor term taken from a different sim because the main purpose is to add animation not static poses) would add more to this simulation than pretty much any other single thing the developer could add.  It essentially takes care of the entire issue of adding animations on its own.  The other two main deficiencies are cloths (esp. lower body) and locations.  However, no single update adding either of those things will do as much in those areas as adding an animation module will do for animations.

Jak said he is also working (or intending to work) on adding 2 more locations.  That, an animation module, and one or two more packs adding clothing (new meshes) plus the ability to layer clothing, and the sim essentially will have all the major components, the main thing left being some kind of scene creator (i.e. sequencer).

Suggestions / Installer
« on: February 25, 2012, 04:03:20 PM »
I'd like to request development of an auto installer for user created content.  Would make it way less of a chore to download and utilize such content.  Probably not the biggest priority, but would be a very welcome addition.
