More clothes, more clothes, more clothes.
« on: October 25, 2012, 12:29:05 PM »
I wish people would step up and make some more clothing for the ladies while we wait for the updates. I would do it but I have no time nor the animation skills. However, if there was a way to transfer Peach Points to anybody that does make clothes, I think we'd see more of them.

I would totally pay Peach Points for clothing.

Whilst I can agree with the thought, for me, the clothing angle won't take off until we have a greater variety of wireframe models to texture.

I disagree.  It's called a "challenge"!  When I started modding games I didn't have all the options in the world available to me.  I made use of what was provided, and that made things interesting.  Sometimes the more options there are, the less people will use them.  Less is more many times.  If I see an interest in what I've already provided in the way of making clothes, then I'll devote some time to making more wireframe options.  Until then I am focusing on bug fixes and other updates that people are expecting.

Well, with the options there are, there is little incentive to get creative.
There is insufficient variety available.
I certainly do not want to texture one too small miniskirt over & over again.
There has to be a variety of models to generate an interest.
Even that has to be before we get onto layers of clothing.

We are customers, not modders.  ;)

I understand that is your viewpoint on it, but also I also understand that the majority of customers (there are over 150,000 users of Sex Sim) have no desire to do any sort of modding whatsoever, and no matter the amount of options available, they simply won't do it.  The customization options were put in with modders in mind.  Until I create a whole clothing creation system that the average customer can simply plug in and use like Fashion Plates, it is modders who are the ones who will be using the given options.

Yes. So we do have to go through that stage first.

I like to consider myself a MEMBER and a modder....A true modder enjoys the challenge of creating new items.

Not much challenge in repeatedly texturing the same mesh.
