It's something I've wanted to put in for a while, so I agree it would be nice.
I tried to make it a bit easier with the latest version by having the character editor create the zip files, which avoids the haphazard zip files from earlier days. Now you just have to right click the zip file, choose extract, then choose your Sex Sim folder and that's it. With some of the earlier style character zips you have to manually move files around if they were made before the character editor came out.
If I have time one day to do it I will, but as you point out it's not the biggest priority so it generally takes a back seat to more pressing things. I kind of hoped someone with programming knowledge would come along and create a character installer\manager (in the same spirit that pronzilla created the People Permuter) but no such luck yet.
