General impressions/requests

Hi Jak!

Just thought I'd give my impressions on the sim so far, and suggest some things I'd like to see in future!

First off, what got me to try it in the first place was the Farmville-esque 'play free, buy content' model - it might not work for a lot of games out there, but I think you've paced it just right, especially as you keep adding fun things.

Also, I'm quite impressed with the art quality - it's realistic without quite hitting that 'uncanny valley' creepiness, but not going too far the other way to be cartoony, with a nice variety of characters. Also I like the direction you've gone with the sound, keeping it non-verbal and realistic so it's not too repetitive.

The customisability, being able to edit the XML and texture files as you want, is a great feature too, although while it's nicely modular in that respect, there's a lot of fields that just don't do anything yet, which it would be nice to see working as more addons come out!

Now the critical part - here's a couple of things that could be changed in the current content, or are just plain bugs:

Excitement meters:
At present, the timing of the excitement meters is a bit odd - in general it's good, although a bit illogical sometimes...
In particular, while performing blowjobs or handjobs, it's impossible for girls to get past the 50% mark, which makes sense. However, in positions where the guy has no stimulation, such as in Twist-her: Spider or some of the alternate positions for 69, he'll still keep going up and eventually cum. Also, there's very few positions which make the girl get excited faster than the guy. Variety-pack 'touching herself' positions should really increase the girl's excitement increase and make it easier to simulate their efforts to climax simultaneously (or get ahead of each other!)
Also, in a similar issue, changing the XML file values for excitement meter gain don't seem to have any effect (which could also help with testing 'cumshot' effects, making certain positions make the meter shoot up for an 'instant cum' effect without it being an in-game button!)
So, generally, it needs a little balancing to make breast-touching and fingering have a bit more effect on excitement.

Exclusive positions: I know they'd require extra animations, but is there any reason guys can't do the sitting/standing eating out/fingering positions the girls can do, or that girl/girl doesn't include a 69 position?

Bugs:
At present the cumshot boob-splatter effects on the 'big' girls (Shauna and Tiffany) don't work, and with a bit of camera work, the alphas seem to be appearing in the inside of their skin.
And a minor minor inconsistancy: fingering/eating out position names are uncapitalised, where everything else is.

Requests!
First up, what I feel is the one thing most lacking from this sex sim that slightly detracts from it being a 'sim' is no foreplay set! There's loads of awesome dress-up outfits, but while hasty, pants-pulled-aside sex can be fun, it's also a bit uncomfortable, so generally you're going to want to get naked first. However, with the current animation sets there's no middle ground between 'posing/giving a blowjob in sexy outfit' to 'full penetrative sex' - so request 1 would be some foreplay setups where it would be natural to get undressed.

Following on from that: if there's foreplay, it would look a bit unnatural for the guy to be completely starkers the whole time. Therefore: outfits for guys! Nothing particularly fancy, just something to take off, although how to work whether he's erect or not when he's wearing pants is up to you. As a part of that though, it could also be nice to include in male dressing options a 'protection on/off' button.

And as a followup to that: the oral/handjob cumshot effects are pretty nice, it would be nice for there to be a 'creampie' effect too, which could go hand in hand with a 'protection' option for the guy, and even a 'pull out' sub animation and linked cum splatters for some positions.

Finally: more sounds! The current sounds are excellent, but there's 10 official characters and only the one voice per gender. It'd be great to have a specific sound set for each girl/guy, or even just a couple more and randomise them. I know this would require having to get more couples to have sex and record them, but it would add a lot of depth to the game!
Also, while having the characters nonverbal does work quite well and prevents obvious repetition, if you've got the resources to record a big enough dictionary of things to say, it could add some atmosphere having some phrases to add for use in certain positions, or at certain times, or most likely when the user tells them to, so we have a 'say phrase' menu to control what they say and when they say it.

Those are the simplest things to add that I think would make the game better as it is - I look forward to other things you have planned that require lots more work - Threesomes (and the various gender-mixes you can have there), new locations, new characters, new positions, and whatever else you have planned!

Awesome, thanks so much for your thoughts.   This is the kind of post we can really get into and find some gems in.  You've got some excellent points, some of which cover things we're already working on for the future and some which we hadn't even thought of.

I'm really glad you like the sim so far and my wife and I are very much into making this the best it can be, so here's to the future.

Just a quick note on my impressions of the major additions you've made since I last gave some feedback

The breast shaper and hair styler are a triumph, they really make customising the look that you want very easy and effective, great work!

The breast shaper's options are great for toning down some of the bustier girls for a more subtle look, or giving some 'flop' if desired, or boosting some of the smaller girls for a bit of a 'confidence boost' :p
As a suggestion, Catt brings a nice hairstyle and 'flat-chested' look, should that be what you're looking for - would it be possible to combine her with the breast shaper somehow, so that the smallest setting swaps out the body model for a 'flat chested' one, perhaps greyed out if the user has not bought Catt. This could also allow Catt to get some boobs through the shaper add-on should she want to!

The hair styler is amazing, I love the colour choices available and it's surprising just how different some of the girls can look with a new 'do, or just a change of colour! No real tweaks I can think of here, I look forward to seeing what other colour choices and styles you have in store for us! (Although now you have the dilemma of new characters needing to have pretty distinctive face/skin/new hairstyles as we can now mix and match hair easily!)

I didn't get the pubic hair styler or stockings add-ons as they're not really my thing, but the new pubic hair does look great, I'm just content with whatever default bush the girl comes with! Looking forward to the possibilities for other accessories these packs have paved the way for! (Vanessa's glasses are brilliant, looking forward to being able to put them on independant of her hairstyle!)

Loving Touches is great, it's very nice to be able to start off slowly with some stroking and kissing and slow undressing.
Some slightly odd things, although I get the animation/positioning restrictions you have to work with that cause them: the girl's boobs get pushed through the guy's chest in the sitting and standing poses, but in reality if they were that close they'd be squashed flat/aside and the physics isn't quite up to that (unless you can specifially re-shape the breasts for these poses? Sounds like a lot of work for not much though.)
Also, the guy seems a little too flaccid, particularly in the sitting pose, for having a mostly/all naked girl sat on his lap kissing him! Although that would look better if you added underwear/clothes for guys as I suggested last time :p
Perhaps a couple more positions would have been nice too, maybe a 'girl on top' lying down one with kissing/handjob sub-positions, or some guy-on-girl oral that's not as awkward as 'Twist Her'?

So, things I'd personally most like to see from here:

More sounds - with so much customisability with the hair styler and such a variety of girls of different sizes and races it stands out more than ever that they only ever have one vocal set

Guy accessory options: underwear, protection, cumshot/creampie options, maybe clothes.

Threesomes: With so many character options, it can be hard to choose one - why not choose two?!
