Tried loading patch, but...

I tried to load the  1.0i patch but it says the software couldn't be found. The game installed ok, I didn't hide the folder,so I don't know what else it could be. Help?

When did you download the installer for the sim? 

If you start the sim, go to the Options menu then hit the "System" tab.  If the version says 1.0i then you don't need the patch.  If not, then if the patch isn't working for you you'll want to download the latest full installer and that will do the trick.
