error message couldnt switch to monitor resolution

On pressing play this comes up it then shows a box switching resolution settings but finishes saying all resolution switches have failed.
I cant find a support message quite like this one so hope you dont mind i newly posted.
Yes i have tried to reboot & re install & followed previous advice notes i have read here.
Also done the update.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble.  I'll need to know something about your system before I can even guess what the problem is, so if you can let me know what kind of video card you have and what version of Windows you're using that would be a good start.  Also, I'd like to see the error log report.  You can find it by going into the "Sex Sim\sexsim_Data" folder and then private message me the "output_log.txt" file that you find in there.
